A Closer Look: The XZE features an extra-wide, extra-deep, zig-zag tread pattern that quickly evacuates water from the tread for impressive wet-road grip and hydroplaning resistance. Solid shoulders help resist tearing and wear in high-scrub applications, while full-depth sipes provide all-wheel position traction throughout the life of the tire. Variable-pitch groove walls help prevent stones from lodging in the tread, improving retreadability. For the final layer of protection, curb guards offer sidewall and shoulder protection.
